well I had an inspiring day. I wrote my novel Nova Goodrich and the Golden Compass all day. basically the plot goes like this. a 16 year old girl wakes up in a cavern not sure of her identity. she battles ancient ghosts to meet dream dragons which give her riddles to solve. when she solves them she is led to a castle atop a hill where she is the given the power to ride a submarine into mythic islands where books are given to her after she defeats enemies. she collects enough of the books to reveal a golden compass which she ues to fly to meet a mythic queen by rocketship. the rocketship is powered by dreams. on those islands she finds a mythic tigress, rocket police, steel, fuel, schematics, heart and courage, toggled devices governing palaces, engines dragon swamps were lessons are taught. in the castle is a mythic piano which if played right pleases the queen and allows people to be saved on earth who need dreams and magic. the planet she wakes up is saturnia, the planet she fights back wolves and police on is taurunia and the planet she sails to is mercuravenus. she meets a young man named michael burnie on this planet who she realizes was sent down from mercuravenus to help her find her dreams and help her defeat the dromeide a creature that stops dreams. they band together and realize they were from a special sect of people determined to harness dreams on earth. i've planned this as a six part series,, nova goodrich and the magic rocket, nova goodrich and the electrical elopement, nova goodich andthe heart candle, nova goodrich and the star pattern synthesizer, nova goodrich and the golden currency. this is pure fantasy so stay tuned. im going to try to get it published by hyperion by winter of 2020.
