Assistant Coach - Baseball
LOCATION: CRESTON, IOWA

Responsibilities include assisting the head coach with recruiting, skills development, practices, games, and all other facets of the program.

Qualifications include previous high school or collegiate level coaching experience and a minimum of an associate degree with a bachelor's degree preferred. Assistant coaching stipend is $4,500. Automotive Repair Technology Instructor
Location: Mount Ayr, Iowa

Southwestern is seeking applications for a full- or part-time automotive repair technology instructor for the automotive repair technology career academy program in Mount Ayr. The successful individual will be responsible for classroom and lab instruction in a variety of automotive courses.

Qualifications include a diploma or AAS degree in auto repair or a minimum of 6,000 hours of recent, relevant auto repair experience. ASE Master Certification is required and can be obtained during the on-boarding process. The successful candidate will also possess strong organizational and leadership skills, demonstrate cooperative teamwork ability, and be attentive to detail. Previous teaching experience is desired, but not required. The teaching contract would meet daily at the Mount Ayr CTE Center beginning August 2026, in alignment with Mount Ayr’s district calendar.

Substitute Night Custodian at Nodaway Valley HS.

This position requires the employee to be on their feet for long periods of time. Must have the ability to operate vacuums, brooms, floor scrubbers, carts, and other cleaning and maintenance equipment. Lifting items up to 50 lbs. is required for the position.

Working conditions include working in a variety of temperatures. The employee will be required to work inside the building, as well as outside in inclement weather conditions. Must be able to handle hot and cold temperatures.

WATER MAINTENANCE/GIS OPERATOR

Performs work under the general supervision of the Water Works Foreman and/or the Water Superintendent. The Water Maintenance/GIS Operator is responsible for Utility Locates and for collecting, developing and maintaining all GIS data relating to the Water Distribution system infrastructure. The Water Maintenance/GIS Operator will be assigned to assist with other Water Distribution duties and may be required to do maintenance work at the Water Treatment Plant.
