UAM College of Technology-Crossett Career Pathways Initiative The Arkansas Career Pathways Initiative is a partnership between community colleges, workforce development agencies, employers and social service providers.

The Career Pathways Initiative (CPI) provides low-income individuals with the higher education skills and credentials they need to gain immediate entry into targeted occupations--ultimately leading these individuals to economic self-sufficiency. In addition to intensive counseling, other resources for students include tuition, fees, books, childcare and transportation. Eligibility Requirements:

A

dult caretaker, parent or relative of a child living in the home under the age of 21, and
Receiving or have received in the past Transitional Employment Assistance (TEA), or

Receiving food stamps, ARKids or Medicaid, or

Annual family income below 250% of the federal poverty level (about $46,000 annually for a family of three).
