Join Us for a Special Book Presentation at NTU!

Join us on Thursday, October 22, 2026, as Lukus Denk, Assistant Professor of Diné Studies at Navajo Technical University, presents Nine Navajo Narratives, a book he co-authored with Melvatha Chee.

The presentation will begin at 12:00 PM inside the Hogan on the NTU main campus in Crownpoint, NM. The book explores the rich history and traditional stories of Diné Bizaad, offering valuable insights into Navajo language and culture.

Copies of Nine Navajo Narratives will be available for purchase at a discounted price during the event.

We invite students, faculty, staff, and community members to attend this informative presentation and learn more about the stories and cultural knowledge shared throughout the book.

NTU Office of Career Services Hosts Fall Career Expo

On October 14, 2026, the Navajo Technical University (NTU) Office of Career Services hosted its annual Fall Career Expo at the Wellness Center on the NTU main campus in Crownpoint, New Mexico.

Organized each semester by Shawna Begay, the Career Expo provides NTU students with an opportunity to connect with representatives and recruiters from various companies and organizations to explore potential internships, employment opportunities, and career pathways.

This semester's event featured 20 booths, giving students the chance to network with industry professionals, ask questions, and gain valuable insights into their future careers.
The event ran from 9 AM to 2 PM, welcoming students throughout the day to learn more about the opportunities available to them.

Shawna emphasized the importance of hosting the Career Expo each semester, highlighting how these events help students prepare for life beyond the classroom. Her goal is to expose students to the wide range of opportunities awaiting them after graduation and demonstrate the many career paths they can pursue with the education and skills they gain at NTU.

Shawna also expressed her appreciation to all the participating companies and organizations for taking the time to visit the NTU campus, engage with students, and share valuable information about their respective industries and career opportunities.

Through events like the Fall Career Expo, NTU continues to support student success by connecting classroom learning with real-world opportunities and helping students take meaningful steps toward their professional futures.
