Recruitment season is happening at WCU, and this is your moment to explore Fraternity and Sorority Life and find a community that feels like home.
Whether you are looking for leadership opportunities, service and philanthropy, cultural connection, or lifelong friendships, there is a council and an organization waiting to meet you.
Registration is OPEN NOW for College Panhellenic Council (CPC) and Interfraternity Council (IFC) recruitment. CPC hosts formal sorority recruitment each fall, traditionally over Labor Day weekend, giving potential new members the opportunity to meet chapters, learn about values, and build connections. IFC hosts a formal recruitment process early in the fall semester, with additional informal opportunities throughout the year for students who want to engage at their own pace.
The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) intake process is rooted in tradition, scholarship, service, and leadership. Students interested in NPHC organizations must attend a required Etiquette event early in the fall or spring semester to become eligible for intake. Each organization shares information through approved postings and informationals once eligibility requirements are met.
The Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) is home to organizations that celebrate culture, heritage, and community while promoting leadership and advocacy. Intake timelines vary by organization and may occur in the fall or spring, with some journeys lasting a full academic year.
No matter which council you explore, recruitment and intake are about more than joining an organization. They are about discovering your values, challenging yourself, and becoming part of something bigger than you.
