Here’s a word introducing one of our seven new Little Sisters Samm! That’s Samm with 2 m’s!

Hi! I’m Samm Matteson and I am so thankful to be a Little Sister for my Kappa Alpha Boys at the Delta Alpha Chapter! I am the Vice President of Event Planning for Alpha Gamma Delta and the Event Manager for Student Made here at WCU and absolutely love the family I have made in Greek Life. My hometown is Hendersonville, NC and I am a Sophomore here studying Hospitality and Tourism.

Our Brother’s asked our Little Sister Samm why she wanted to be a part of KA and she said “throughout high school, I didn’t have the best friendships or people who have really supported me in my life. When I got to WCU and joined Alpha Gam all that changed. Not only do I have the best support system and best friendships from my sorority but I know I have the best group of gentlemen during the rest of my time at Western. Since the beginning of this semester, I have gotten to know the gentleman of Kappa Alpha and the amazing men of this Order and I can happily say I am thankful for having these men in my life.”

To me, it’s just something that I’ve never questioned. My brothers consistently encourage and help each other grow into the best versions of ourselves. For me this has always felt like home.”

Yesterday our Brother’s had the opportunity to have a Potluck with the beautiful ladies of Alpha Gamma Delta and celebrate with these amazing sister’s their Local Founder’s Day! Happy 27th Birthday to the Alpha Gamma Delta - Theta Omicron Chapter!!! Our Brother’s were so happy y’all loved the gifts, especially SKIOUROS!!
