WCU Mentoring and Persistence to Success

WCU Mentoring and Persistence to Success We provide academic support for all program participants, but we also help with more than academics. https://linktr.ee/WCU.MAPS Plus a lot more.

The university experience can be a challenging one for all students. An experience resulting in graduation often requires a support network that can help students navigate their personal academic journey. At WCU, you'll find the support you need for your specific situation. The Office of Mentoring and Persistence to Success provides services and resources to four groups within the student body:

S

tudents who are first generation college students (parents do not have Bachelor's degrees)
Students who meet income guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)
Emancipated youth, formerly homeless or without consistent residence, or aged out of foster care
Students participating in Academic Success Program (ASP)

Polish your study skills or learn how to manage your time effectively and avoid procrastination. Talk to an academic advisor about registration, what classes to take, and how to choose a major or a career. Whether you need personal coaching, help in making the transition to college life, or career advice, we're here for you. See our linktree for more information about our services & programs within our office: https://linktr.ee/wcu_maps
