We will not be able to answer any comments to our posts. We hope this page will help notify you of any lot closures, events, repairs, special events, CAT-TRAIN routes and hours etc. that may change your PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION opportunities.

Are you an incoming freshman?

Don’t forget to stop by and see us at freshman orientation every Monday and Thursday 3:00-4:15pm in the UC Grand Room during the month of June. We’re handing out candy while answering Parking and Cat Tran shuttle questions.

Do any WCU/ Camp Lab School alumni or faculty/staff from 1980-2011 spot your parking permit? 👀

We created this shadow box with old permits to show the progression of parking permits over the years. Stay tuned for another post as we add more to our collection. This is displayed in the lobby of the parking office for everyone to enjoy. 🚙🅿️

Cat-Tran service will end Friday March 1, 2024 at 11pm. Shuttles will resume service Sunday March 10, 2024 at 5pm.

Weekend shuttle, Saturday January 20, 2024 will run on normal operations.

Inclement Weather:
Due to current and incoming weather, all shuttles will end service at 3:30 on Friday January 19, 2024. Weekend shuttle services will be determined at a later time.

Shuttle service will end Friday October 13 at 11pm. Shuttles will resume service on Sunday October 22 at 5pm

WCU Campus,

We look forward to serving you in our new office location! Parking Operations will be moving and will now be located at 3344 Old Cullowhee Rd, Cullowhee, NC 28723
This location formally known as Tuck’s currently supplies offices for Enterprise Rent A Car and WCU Electric Resale. Directions to our office from the main entrance of campus: keep right at the roundabout, follow to 2nd red-light and turn left. After passing the Steam Plant on the right, our office will be the next building to the right, shortly before the caution light.

We will begin transitioning into our new location on Tuesday December 20, 2022 and plan to be fully operational by the end of the week. If at any point you have parking questions or concerns, please contact our office at 828-227-7275 or via email at [email protected]

Creek Lot 9C will be closed Thursday October 27 for an event. Those who normally utilize this lot are encouraged to park in the parking deck.
