WCU Distance Learning is on the road this week for Western Days with WCU Admissions. We will be at AB Tech from 9-12pm today (10/20), BRCC from 1-4pm today (10/20), WPCC from 10-1pm tomorrow (10/21), HCC from 10-1pm Wednesday, and then ICC from 10-1pm on Thursday. Come stop by our table! We would love to see you, give you some WCU swag, and answer any questions you have about our distance programs!

Western Carolina University Educational Outreach and our office send letters to the NC Community College Presidents each year, informing them of the graduates from WCU (both residential and distance, undergraduate and graduate) who also took courses at their schools. All distance learning undergraduate students are required to be considered transfer students, so our relationship with community colleges like Western Piedmont Community College is paramount to our success. Sometimes we get to experience a little bit of magic at WCU. Today, one of our distance students, who is set to graduate this December, brought her daughter to orientation for campus students. Stepmom and daughter will both be in classes this fall, one online and one on campus in Cullowhee. We hope they are both having a blast exploring and are excited for fall!
