WCU has been involved in providing education and training programs for Jamaican Teachers since the early 1970’s. The Bachelor of Science in Education (BSEd) in Middle Grades Education is offered to teachers who have completed a recognized three year teacher education program in Jamaica. Qualified Jamaican teachers are accepted into the program if they meet the following requirements: 1) each appli

cant must provide an official copy of a Jamaican Teaching Diploma; and 2) each must provide an official Jamaican teachers’ college transcript.
