Congratulations to all of our students who earned a spot on the Dean’s List or President’s List for the spring 2026 semester — your dedication and hard work truly stand out!

To be named to the Dean’s List, students must be enrolled full time and earn a 3.5 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale; students on the President’s List achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Know a student taking calculus next year? Here’s a great way to get a head start. Southeast is hosting a three-week Summer Calculus Prep Intensive with MIT student mentors and Southeast faculty, giving rising juniors and seniors hands-on learning and extra confidence before the semester begins.

The program runs July 6–24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at our Middlesboro Campus, and lunch is provided.

Local students to receive community scholarships during SKCTC scholarship signing day

What:
Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College will host a Scholarship Signing Day recognizing four local students who have earned scholarships through the Middlesboro Alumni & Friends Association Scholarship and the Mike Bowling Memorial Scholarship.

The event will celebrate student achievement and provide scholarship recipients an opportunity to formally accept their awards alongside family members, educators, scholarship supporters, and community leaders.

The Mike Bowling Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the legacy of the late Mike Bowling, a longtime public servant and advocate for Southeastern Kentucky. The scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated resilience and perseverance in overcoming adversity while pursuing their educational goals.

The Middlesboro Alumni & Friends Association Scholarship supports local students as they continue their education and reflects the organization's ongoing commitment to investing in the future of the Middlesboro community.

• Scholarship recipients from Middlesboro High School and Bell County High School
• Representatives of the Middlesboro Alumni & Friends Association
• Representatives of the Mike Bowling Memorial Scholarship and Bowling family
