This course provides operators with a comprehensive look at two critical treatment technologies: Membrane Filtration - An in-depth exploration of membrane filtration treatment methods, processes, parameters, and operational and maintenance techniques. Fluoridation - Uses of membrane filters to remove fluoride, fluoride application review, performance evaluation methods, and safe handling and storage of fluoride as a treatment agent. Real-World Application - Actual facilities will be used as topics of classroom discussion and demonstrations.
This course is approved by the State of Maryland for water and wastewater operator certification renewal (TRE Approval: 4072-07-07 - All Operators β Process). Maryland-certified operators can apply this course toward their 3-year CE renewal requirement administered by the Maryland Board of Waterworks and Waste Systems Operators.
