Youth ages 8–18 will spend the day exploring hands-on activities in animal science, agriculture advocacy, nutrition, goats & lambs, “muscle to meat,” and more — all while experiencing college life and hands-on learning at NCTA in Curtis.

Today, we remember and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is a legacy we will never forget.

What better way to kick off summer than with spring branding in Aggieland. 🤠

Yesterday, students, faculty, and community members came together to brand more than 100 head, giving Ranch Crew another opportunity to build real-world livestock experience outside the classroom.

A huge thank you to Pat Breen for trusting NCTA students with both his fall and spring herds. Partnerships like this give our students the hands-on experience they came here for while also allowing NCTA to give back to the ag community that supports us.

Thank you to everyone who came out to help, and to NCTA Food Services for providing lunch afterward.

Good cattle, good people, and another good day to be an Aggie.

Academic excellence worth celebrating. 🎓👏

Congratulations to the 56 students recognized on the Dean’s List and Honor Roll this semester at the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture.

From communities across Nebraska and around the nation, these students represent the dedication, determination, and hard work that define the Aggie experience. We’re especially proud to see so many students from rural communities near Curtis continuing the land-grant tradition through hands-on agricultural and veterinary education.

🏅 23 students earned a perfect 4.0 GPA and Dean’s List distinction
📚 33 students earned Honor Roll recognition with GPAs from 3.50–3.99

This week, we took time to celebrate the people who help make NCTA feel like home.

From recognizing faculty and staff members who go above and beyond for our students each day, to honoring those beginning new chapters through retirement and new opportunities, it was a reminder of just how much heart exists within this campus community.

The impact made by our faculty and staff reaches far beyond a classroom, office, barn, or shop. They mentor, encourage, challenge, support, and help shape the experiences our students will carry with them long after graduation.

To those recognized this week, thank you for your dedication to NCTA, your belief in our students, and the countless ways you serve this campus.

And to those moving on to retirement and new adventures, thank you for the years, memories, and lasting impact you leave behind. You will always be part of the Aggie family, and we’re excited to see where your next journey takes you.
