To join NSCS, students must meet the minimum GPA and ranking requirements during their first or second year of college enrollment. There is a one-time fee of $95 for a lifetime NSCS membership which is used to provide a variety of benefits and services to members. These include funding to the chapter for activities; a personalized diploma and Induction Convocation; exclusive scholarship, award and

study abroad opportunities; access to a variety of career development tools others must pay for, and are often courted by recruiters for major employers; and networking opportunities with more than a million NSCS members nationwide.
