SMU Summer String Workshop

SMU Summer String Workshop This informal yet inspirational summer workshop will tackle many of the challenges that face school orchestra directors on a regular basis.

Super-star guest clinicians will address conducting at all levels, aspects of recruiting, playing and teaching string bass and viola, the methods of the late Paul Rolland plus opportunities to share teaching practices and favorite orchestra charts. Clinicians will include Ruth Kurtis, Mary Alice Rich, JaNae Taylor, Susan Younghans and Deborah Perkins. Optional evening social events will include happy hours and dinner.
