New art exhibits open June 1! 🎨 This summer, Dallas College galleries and art spaces will feature exhibitions ranging from nationally recognized artists and emerging Dallas talent to faculty artwork and selections from the Dallas College art collection.

Visitors can explore:
- Madison Smith at Eastfield Gallery 219
- Keith Williams: Transcending Dimensions at Richland's Brazos Gallery
- Reavivar at our Mountain View Campus, featuring local Hispanic and Latino artists alongside works from the Dallas College art collection
- Collection-based exhibitions celebrating the history, artists and legacy of Dallas College
- Additional exhibitions showcasing the breadth of creative work across our campuses

Coming later this summer:
The Bill J. Priest Center 2nd Floor Gallery will host the annual On My Own Time exhibition in partnership with the Business Council for the Arts.

This weekend, Dallas College opened its doors across Dallas County to help students and families take the next step toward their future.

During Super Saturday events on all seven campuses, students connected with advisors and enrollment teams, while Community Day at our Workforce Center at RedBird introduced visitors to academic programs, workforce training opportunities and community resources. Together, these events reflected something we believe deeply: opportunity should be accessible to everyone, no matter where they are on their educational journey.

The people who come to Dallas College are as diverse as the communities we serve — recent high school graduates, working adults, parents, veterans and lifelong learners. What they share is a desire to learn, grow and move forward.

Dallas College sits at the intersection of education, workforce development and community. We are preparing students for degrees, careers and long-term success. When we help students navigate both the classroom and daily life, we don't just support individual achievement. We strengthen our communities and move our region forward.

The perfect place to launch a new career? Dallas College, of course. These two resilient students are starting new, promising careers thanks to their growth, grit and the power of opportunity.

Rosemary Pate discovered cooking while working at an assisted living facility. Now she’s taking her new passion to the next level. “Anytime somebody asks about the culinary field, I immediately recommend Dallas College. I just love the chefs, the curriculum and everything.”

Xinglei Hu needed a change and landed his dream job in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology. “The lab at Dallas College was fantastic,” he said. “There are so many systems, and we practiced everything there first, like welding copper tubing. That made a big difference. When I got to a job site, I already knew a lot.”
