Health Promotion is the discipline dedicated to enabling people to increase control over and to improve their health. Health promotion companies design, implement and assess programs for individuals, communities, and corporations

that incorporate multiple intervention methods to guide individuals toward a healthy lifestyle. Why a Health Promotion Management Degree? The cost of chronic disease in the United States is more than 1 trillion dollars annually. The burden of healthcare costs is often placed on employers and individuals, making affordable healthcare out of reach for many consumers. As such, the health promotion industry
is projected to grow 17% by the year 2024. Our MS in Health Promotion Management degree prepares future leaders in the health promotion industry. Our curriculum combines foundational health promotion courses with the world-class business and management courses provided at the Edwin L. Cox School of Business.
