It's National Library Week, an annual celebration highlighting the valuable role libraries and library professionals play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities.

Today is Right to Read Day (https://uniteagainstbookbans.org/right-to-read-day/), a day for readers, advocates, and library lovers to take action to protect, defend, and celebrate the right to read. The American Library Association (ALA) kicks off National Library Week with the release of its State of America's Libraries Report (https://www.ala.org/news/state-americas-libraries-report-2025), including the list of Top Ten Most Challenged Books of 2025.

🎓 Tomorrow at Roberts Library: the Spring Undergraduate Research and Scholarship Symposium starts at 9 am. Students from across campus will present the results of their original research projects. We look forward to seeing you there!

Participation in this survey is entirely voluntary and will take about 5 minutes. At the end of the survey, you may enter your email address and ID (9000 number or community patron number) to be entered in a drawing for door prizes.

The grand prize will be a reserved study room during Focus on Finals Week (May 4-8).

The survey will run from April 13 to April 30, 2026. The prize drawing will be held on May 1st and the winner will be notified that day.

Roberts Library's Improv Workshop to be held next week has been postponed. We will share the new date and time once it's been rescheduled.

🚧 Roberts Library will be closed during Spring Break (March 9-13) for construction. We will reopen Monday, March 16 for normal operating hours.
