Day 16. we traveled back to Bangkok from Phuket today after spending a bit more time on the beach or seeing the Big Buddha on the hill. Now we close out the course with final project work and exploration of Bangkok.

Day 11. We woke up this morning with a desire to jump into a ponds and net some fish. And learn about aquaculture more generally in Thailand. Videos in the next post. We ate in the Kasetsart University cafeteria and then drove on to Hua Hin as we make our way south.

Day 09-10. We spent Saturday catching up on rest, finding lost bags, and doing class presentations and discussions of Sustainable Development Goals. On Sunday, we traveled to Kanchanaburi to see the Bridge on the River Kwai and Hellfire Pass, two historical sites of great WWII significance. We ended the night with good food and a performance of a Michael Jackson classic by Miles and Jay (video available on request).

Days 07-08. On Thursday, students found time for exploring Chiang Mai, including hiking, visiting wats (religious sites), and tea farms. On Friday we traveled back to Bangkok and had a tour of Kasetsart University. Some got to see the resident monitor lizards in KU’s on campus ponds.
