I finally made it back to visit my dog friends today after life pulled me away for a bit.

Tristan and I spent some time playing in the yard.. he got a little mouthy, so we kept things on leash today, which worked out great for both of us. Then I got my reward: quality time with Kit and Dot (a bonded pair). These two are absolute angels, and I truly can't believe they're still waiting for their forever homes.

If you're looking for a new best friend, come meet these wonderful babies at QC Paws! Just keep in mind that some dogs, like Tristan, need a little extra patience and love... and they are so worth it.

Deaf dogs are such sensitive, sweet souls. 🤍🐾

I've been keeping a secret from you all...

If you've been to one of my events, it probably won't come as a huge surprise... gift giving is one of my love languages. There is truly nothing that brings me more joy than pampering my guests a little.

Let's talk about last night....

The evening felt simply magical. A huge thank you to for facilitating such a beautiful Cacao Ceremony... it was truly what I needed.

It was more than just sipping on a warm drink. Ariel brought real intention and knowledge to her practice, and as we released the petals into the flames, I couldn't help but think about releasing all of the anxiety about the future. Sometimes it's hard to stay grounded in the present... but this heart opening ceremony did exactly that, adding such a beautiful layer to the sound bath.

There are people who walk into your life and just make it brighter.. Stephanie Kerker Phares is one of those people.

What began as a friendship has grown into watching her step fully into her gifts as a Reiki Practitioner. Steph is a Level II practitioner whose work is rooted in love, connection, and acceptance. She believes deeply in the purpose we each carry simply by being here together on this earth... and that shows in the space she holds for others.

You may have noticed cacao ceremonies popping up in a couple of my upcoming events... Once in a Blue Moon: A Night of Sound and Stillness and Cycles and Seasons: A Women's Mini Retreat. So what's all the hype about?

Cacao is an incredible heart opener. It has been used ceremonially for centuries as a plant medicine, and when you sit with it intentionally, it has this gentle way of softening whatever you've been quietly holding onto.

Which is exactly why it belongs alongside Blue Moon energy.

This Blue Moon is already asking us to look honestly at what we're ready to release. Old stories, unfinished emotions, things we've been carrying longer than we probably need to. Cacao just makes it a little easier to actually go there. It warms you from the inside out and creates space for whatever needs to move through.

Some things are easier to let go of when your heart is already open.

A blue moon is rare... and this one deserves a little something extra.

This Saturday, we're celebrating the second full moon in May with an expanded version of our beloved Full Moon Harmonies: A Reiki and Sound Healing Experience. You can expect all the Reiki and sound healing you know and love, plus a cacao ritual by Ariel Shackleford, time for quiet reflection, and journaling. For those who feel called to create, I'll have art supplies on hand as well.
