We are excited to announce that DI will be presenting not one, but TWO workshops at HackDavis 2023! 😆 On Saturday, May 20th from 11 AM - 12 PM PT at ARC Ballroom A, catch our Intro to Figma workshop led by our VP External, Heidi, and Outreach Coordinator, Viv. This workshop is beginner-friendly and will go over the basics of Figma. ✨

For the more experienced Figma users, join us from 12 PM - 1PM PT for our UI Hacks workshop led once again by Heidi, and our Content Strategist, Sam. You can expect to learn advanced Figma tips and tricks. We hope to see you there, and happy hacking! 💻

Yesterday we announced the first of our cohort projects. Next up is the Meal Finder App mentored by Meghna Okhade.

🥑 Isabella Miyuki Asuncion is excited to meet other designers and learn from their experiences! She looks forward to learning more about everyone’s design journeys and applying unique perspectives to create the best possible solutions for users.

🥑 Kyle Lee is excited to work with more talented designers.

🥑 Casey Anno is most excited about networking opportunities and being able to further her experience in the UX/UI realm as a possible career.

🥑 Christina Liu is super excited to be immersed in DI’s community and to learn all sorts of things together with her fellow teammates!
