UC Davis has earned renewed distinction as a Platinum Bicycle Friendly Business from the League of American Bicyclists.

This recognition builds on UC Davis’ recent Platinum status as a Bicycle Friendly University, reinforcing its position as a national leader in campus cycling infrastructure, education, and advocacy. With both designations, UC Davis is now one of only two universities in the nation to hold Platinum status as both a Bicycle Friendly University and a Bicycle Friendly Business.

“The National Multicultural Greek Council, Inc. (NMGC) is pleased to announce that Epsilon Sigma Rho Fraternity, Inc. (ΕΣΡ) has joined the NMGC on March 11th, 2026.

Founded on March 2, 1986, at California State University, Sacramento, Epsilon Sigma Rho was established by eight men known as "The Creators." As the nation's first multicultural-based fraternity, the organization was built on a need for multicultural awareness and a devotion to diversity. For four decades, the fraternity has worked to develop a strong community support network and a bond among brothers that transcends ethnic, national, and religious differences.

"I've had the pleasure to know and work with Epsilon Sigma Rho personally, and I'm excited to now welcome them professionally to the National Multicultural Greek Council. Their membership will add valuable depth and perspective to our council as we continue strengthening our collective impact," said NMGC President Dr. Keosha Griffiths. Epsilon Sigma Rho operates under a philosophy of spreading multicultural awareness through three core principles: education, strength, and respect. From its roots in Northern California to its expansion into Arizona and beyond, Epsilon Sigma Rho continues to flourish. By joining the NMGC, Epsilon Sigma Rho reinforces its legacy of leadership and its mission to empower men to have an optimistic outlook on diversity through their principles.

With their deep-seated roots on the West Coast, Epsilon Sigma Rho infuses the NMGC with a reinvigorating and welcoming energy that sparks a new era of growth. This partnership further amplifies the Council's national impact, charging forward with a shared, unstoppable commitment to multicultural unity.” 🤍💙💛

March is Women’s History Month, and today, March 8th, we proudly recognize International Women’s Day. Epsilon Sigma Rho Fraternity stands in appreciation of the incredible women who have shaped our lives. Their influence can be found in the values we uphold, the communities we serve, and the character we strive to build as men and leaders.

Throughout history, women have led movements, broken barriers, and created opportunities for future generations. From pioneers like Rosa Parks, who courageously stood for justice and civil rights, to trailblazers like Katherine Johnson, whose brilliance helped propel humanity into space, their achievements remind us that progress is built on courage, resilience, and determination.

Closer to home, many of us were first guided by the women in our own families and communities. The mothers who sacrificed to give us opportunity. The sisters who challenged us to grow. The teachers, mentors, and friends who believed in us and pushed us to be better men. Their wisdom, compassion, and strength continue to shape the brotherhood we are proud to represent.

This month, we reflect on the countless contributions women have made in education, leadership, science, business, public service, and within our own communities. Their accomplishments inspire us to continue building a fraternity rooted in respect, service, and empowerment for all. We encourage everyone to take a moment this month to celebrate the women who make a difference in your world. Whether it’s a mentor, a sister, a mother, or a friend, let’s give them the recognition they deserve.

Happy Women’s History Month and Happy International Women’s Day. Ewhite! #ΕΣΡ
