Tomorrow, September 5th, is the big deadline! Students have until tomorrow to:

- Drop classes for a full refund - courses dropped before the deadline won't go down as an attempted course, this is important for maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress!

- Waive Student Health Insurance - students can complete the waiver through Anthem by going to the Student Accounts Launchpad in WINGS. Health insurance information is needed to waive!

- Waive other optional fees - Student Legal Services ($16) and Counseling and Wellness ($20) charges can be waived through the Student Accounts Launchpad as well.

If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call at 937-775-4000!

Today, August 15th, is the first deadline for payment. As the first deadline of the semester, there are NO late fees or penalties for this deadline. We do recommend setting up the 4 Payment Plan if you are planning on using one. This keeps a regular monthly schedule for payments as the next installment will always be due on September 15th. If you have any questions let us know!

We look forward to seeing our Wright State Raiders on campus! First day of classes is Thursday, August 21st!

Fall 2025 bills have officially been posted! Students can see their charges through the Student Accounts Launchpad in WINGS (wings.wright.edu) portal; parents who have been given Authorized User access can view the bill by accessing the login by visiting our webpage.

FAQ:

Deadlines - If you're planning to use the 4 Payment Plan to cover the balance, please sign up by August 15th to keep a regular monthly schedule. For those paying outright through their own funds or loans, please make sure the balance is fully paid by September 15th to avoid late fees. There is no late fee for the August 15th deadline.

Health Insurance - Students can waive the Health Insurance cost through the Student Accounts Launchpad. Simply create an account through Anthem with your information and supply health insurance in the waiver.

Campus Engagement - This $200 fee is a fee approved by the Student Government Association for the purpose of improving student spaces, events, and activities on campus. This is a non-waivable fee attached to students beginning in the 2025-2026 Cohort group.

Meal Plan - Meal plans can be changed through the Student Accounts Launchpad by clicking on the Wright1 Card Menu. Students have until mid-August to make changes.

Negative Balance - A negative balance means a refund! If you see that minus sign in front, then nothing needs to be paid. The student will receive that refund during the second or third week of classes.

Inclusive Courseware - These are the costs of an online textbook for a specific course. Normally, these courses have some sort of online homework component that is easier for the bookstore to buy in bulk and save money for the student. These costs are then put into the tuition bill.

The first official statement for the Fall 2024 semester has been posted to view! Please take some time to review all charges and financial aid by visiting the new Student Accounts Launchpad in WINGS.

Have some questions about the bill? Here are some answers to some FAQs to get you started!

- The Student Health Insurance charge is automatically given to all students who are registered for full time work. Students can visit the Student Accounts Launchpad to complete the waiver and once the waiver has been accepted, it will be removed from the bill in 3-5 business days.

- Payment plans have officially opened up for enrollment! The structure of the payment plan is unchanging: 4 payments of 25% of the bill, with the first 25% and a $25 set up fee due up front to start the plan.

- To give parents the ability to see and pay the bill, the student will set up their parent as an Authorized User through the Student Accounts Launchpad. If you want your parent to be able to talk to Enrollment Services about the bill, financial aid, and so on, you'll need to set up the Proxy access through the Student Academics Launchpad. These are two separate accesses, so please make sure both are appropriately set up to allow your parent to assist.

- First payment due date is August 15th. This payment deadline does not have any late fees or penalties. We recommend signing up for a payment plan by that date to keep a regular monthly schedule. If you plan to pay the balance outright, then the date to remember is September 15th. That will be when late fees begin.

If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call at 937-775-4000 or send us an email at [email protected]! Please keep in mind that August is our busiest month, so there may be some wait times before we can answer but we promise to keep you informed!

We're getting to the point where the Fall 2024 semester is right around the corner, which means that the bill will be released and students will be making their way to class. It's time to go over FERPA protections - federal regulations that prohibit the distribution of information related to the student's education. This includes but is not limited to: their billing statements, overall balance, schedule, grades, financial aid, and so on.

FERPA will prohibit us from being able to divulge information about the above items if any person other than the student calls, emails, or visits us without the student present or proxy permissions given. Students can give permission through the Proxy Management menu in the Student Academics Launchpad. They will need to create the proxy AND give permissions through the checkboxes for us to be able to talk to the proxy about the student's account.

Another access the student can create is an Authorized User account to specifically access the billing portals. Authorized Users can be set up within the Student Account Center in the Student Launchpad. This access is separate from proxy - Authorized Users will not be able to speak to us directly about the student's bill but will be given a login to see all charges and make payments through their own account.

Parents will need to have their student set up these accesses in order to be able to talk to Enrollment Services and pay outstanding bills on their own. Our office cannot speak to any parent about FERPA protected information without the proxy access, no matter the circumstance. August is our busiest month and plenty of parents will tell you that being unable to speak with us after getting through can be frustrating. Make sure these accesses are set up if you will be asking questions for your student!
