Strong communities start with understanding and compassion. Mental Health First Aid training gives everyday people the skills to recognize when someone is facing mental health or substance use challenges — and the confidence to be their first source of support. We’re excited to share these new opportunities to attend Mental Health First Aid training in the Green Bay / De Pere area in the coming weeks.

UPDATE: Our snow emergency has been extended until Tuesday at 6 am. Please visit our page for the latest information.

----

❄️⚠️ IMPORTANT REMINDER: The City of De Pere is declaring a Snow Emergency from TONIGHT (Saturday, March 14, 2026) beginning at 11 pm until Monday (March 16) at 6 pm.

When the snow starts, please avoid travel if you are able. If you need to be out and about during any portion of the upcoming storm, please be safe, give yourself plenty of extra time, please give our crews space, and please park in off street lots.

👉🚨 A snow emergency declaration prohibits vehicles from parking on City streets to facilitate safe and efficient snow removal. Vehicles remaining on the street during this timeframe are subject to enforcement actions that could include being towed at the owner’s expense, which no one wants to see.

The City of De Pere will also be suspending garbage and recycling collection on Monday 3/16/26. All garbage and recycling collection will be delayed one (1) day this coming week. Please do not set out any carts on Sunday night due to forecasted high winds and snow totals.

Our crews at De Pere Public Works appreciate everyone's cooperation! 🙏

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Snow Emergency Declaration 11pm Saturday Through 6pm Monday

DE PERE, WI – Relying on weather forecasts from the National Weather Service that are calling for 12 or more inches of snow, the City of De Pere is declaring a Snow Emergency from 11pm Saturday Night, March 14, 2026 until 6pm Monday evening, March 16, 2026. If you are out and about Saturday night, please plan on finding parking in off street lots.

A Snow Emergency Declaration prohibits vehicles from parking on City Streets during this time to facilitate snow removal. Because of the amount of snow predicted, the likelihood of drifting due to high winds, and the duration of the event, plow crews will need to complete several iterations of snow removal. Therefore, vehicles should be removed from the roadway for the entire duration of the Emergency.

Vehicles remaining on the street are subject to enforcement actions that could include being towed at the owner’s expense, which no one wants to see. Thank you for your cooperation, which will help our Public Works plow crews better clear the streets of De Pere.

The City of De Pere will also be suspending garbage and recycling collection on Monday 3/16/26. The garbage and recycling collection will be delayed one (1) day due to Winter Storm Elsa, the forecasted high winds and snow totals. Monday garbage and recycling routes will be collected on Tuesday, Tuesday routes on Wednesday, Wednesday routes on Thursday and Thursday routes on Friday. This is being done to allow our team an opportunity to focus on providing safe winter travel and to minimize blowing around of garbage and recycling as well as carts being tipped over due to wind and snow.

Stay safe and stay warm.
Jeremy A. Muraski, Chief of Police

And the countdown is on at SNC!

I will be on campus for 6 more Wednesdays throughout the semester, thank you all for being amazing and supporting my small business, and above all supporting yourself.

I am being called to explore new avenues of health and healing both professionally and personally; being at SNC for the last 2 years has been increadibly helpful for me to grow and expand my healing to the individuals who need it the most.
