Intern2work is the distinctive network program offering employers the talent pool of college students from community colleges, two-year UW colleges and the UW four-year institutions. The program was developed by Northeast Wisconsin Educational Resource Alliance-NEW ERA. This consortium links the thirteen publicly-supported institutions of higher education in northeast Wisconsin and includes the re
gion’s four technical colleges, joined with five two-year UW Colleges, the College of Menominee Nation, UW Extension and the four-year UW System universities at Green Bay and Oshkosh. The colleges participating in the Beta version of the Intern2work network include:

• Moraine Park Technical College
• University of Wisconsin – Fond du Lac
• University of Wisconsin – Fox Valley
• University of Wisconsin Oshkosh (College of Letters & Science and College of Business Administration)
Intern2work encourages college students to take the first step toward an internship experience by creating a profile highlighting their skills and the contributions they can make to an organization. Employers participating in the program are able to search those profiles and identify candidates that would best fit their internship opportunities. The result is a program that gives students valuable experience while creating opportunities for employers to identify their future workforce.
