🍎 Meet Megan Salentine

Megan has accepted a position as a second grade teacher at Saint Maria Goretti Catholic School in Madison, where she’ll help inspire and shape the next generation of learners.

During her time at SNC, Megan found a strong sense of community and support from professors who truly cared about her success, helping prepare her to make a meaningful impact in the classroom.

Congratulations, Megan! Your future students are lucky to have you 💚💛

And another one!!! Congrats Barry!

Here’s another Great Starts spotlight from the Class of 2026 at St. Norbert College:

Meet Barry Applewhite!

A psychology and business administration double major, Barry has accepted a position as a financial advisor with Voya Financial in Milwaukee. He was also accepted into the Master of Science in Sports Psychology programs at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and Northern Michigan University.

Barry ultimately hopes to become a sports psychologist and work with professional athletes, helping them strengthen their mental performance.

Congratulations, Barry! We can’t wait to see the impact you make. 💚💛

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be featuring members of the Class of 2026 in our Great Starts series, highlighting how academics, hands-on learning, and campus involvement helped prepare them for life after graduation.

🔬 Meet Paris Wills!

Paris is heading to University of Nebraska–Lincoln to pursue a Ph.D. in biochemistry. Her long-term goal is to work in a medical research lab studying antibiotics and diseases, contributing to discoveries to improve and save lives.

Senior Spotlight post
🎓 Meet Courtnie, an Honors senior graduating this December!

Courtnie has truly made her mark at St. Norbert College with a stellar array of accomplishments. She's been named to the Dean’s List, clinched the Rookie of the Year award for SNC Women’s hockey and earned a spot on the NCHA 2023-2024 All-Conference team - just to name a few!

Beyond the rink, Courtnie is a proud member of Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society and The Hidden Opponent, an advocacy group focused on athlete mental health.

Courtnie’s college highlights include cherished moments with her hockey teammates and making lifelong friends. Her advice? “Find a good group of friends and outlets away from school and studies. It is so important to have good people to lean on and have fun with.”

She’s set to intern this fall at Bellin Health Titletown Sports Medicine and Orthopedics, paving the way for a career in health and fitness.

Some of our Class of 2025 students are graduating early! Let’s celebrate this incredible achievement!

Meet Gracie Giese, Editor-in-Chief of the St. Norbert Times, who last semester took the lead in planning and hosting an amazing trip to La Jolla, California, for the Associated Collegiate Press conference! 🌟 As a proud member of Omicron Delta Kappa, she's truly made the most of her time at St. Norbert College.

Her journey includes serving as a Media Psychology fellow with Dr. Kretz, interning with the Center for Childhood Safety, and completing two internships with the Press Times. But the highlight? Building countless lifelong friendships! Her top advice for first-year students: "Do something outside of your comfort zone! Take a class or join a club that you never would have thought about before - the experience and outcome will surprise you!"

Looking ahead, she'll be stepping into the role of Assistant Editor at the Peshtigo Times after graduation. 🚀✨ Congratulations and best of luck!

We love celebrating our Honors graduates and their exciting future paths post-SNC! Meet Bethany Kreklow, a 2024 graduate, as she shares her upcoming plans for this fall. Cheers to our Honors Green Knight Alumni 🎓💚

"Starting in early fall, I will be teaching at an American school in Dubai. I decided to consider international teaching positions after completing part of my student teaching experience abroad in Ghana last fall. At the school, I will teach middle school social studies. I am excited to move to such an exciting city and to get to explore more of the world through this experience!"

This past May, 12 honors students joined Dr. Mann on an unforgettable adventure to Greece. 🇬🇷📚 This is where classroom lessons come to life and experiences turn into life-changing moments! Check out these pictures to see the incredible opportunities our students had. 🌟📸
