From paddle boats to problem solving… our spring outing was one for the to remember! 🌊🎣🔥
Purposefully Living By Design stepped outside of comfort zones and into real life teamwork, communication, leadership, and FUN! From first time fishing experiences, getting “temporarily stuck” in a paddle boat 😅, untangling ropes, helping each other reach shore, and sharing conversations about goals, dreams, and life over food, every moment became an opportunity to grow together.
What made this trip special wasn’t perfection… it was the willingness to work together, think critically, stay calm under pressure, and support one another through every challenge. 💪🏽
Students shared that this experience:
✨ Strengthened communication & listening skills
✨ Built teamwork & trust
✨ Helped them think critically
✨ Pushed them beyond their comfort zones
✨ Created unforgettable memories & connections
AND… fun fact of the day 😂👇🏽
Mrs. Cooper has only been fishing for about a MONTH! With a total newbie status 🎣 and somehow managed to outfish not only the students BUT one of the owners of the property too! Safe to say the competition got REAL out there 😭🏆🐟
No experience. No experts. Just growth, resilience, laughter, and a team determined to stay READY not rattled. 🚣🏽♂️🎯
Huge shoutout to every student who showed up, participated, encouraged others, and embraced every moment of the journey. Purposefully Living By Design continues to prove that the best learning happens through real experiences and authentic connection. 💜
Also, Thank you Latesha and Taylor for hosting our event and everything you do with and for our group! 💜
