Awareness saves lives -- take it from Jamie Racklyeft. Skills like “flip, float, and follow” can save even the strongest swimmers. Everyone is are vulnerable to the hazards of rip currents, which drown hundreds nationwide each summer.

Wayne County residents may drop off hazardous waste (see details) at our main campus on June 27.

On June 27, HFC will host a free hazardous waste collection day. Wayne County residents with proof of residency may drop off specified items at this free event.

At the end of the summer, HFC will bid farewell to Betsy Cohn after three decades of service to the College community. Congrats, Betsy!

Since 1995, HFC English instructor Betsy Cohn has helped students gain the power of communication, something she has put into action by being involved across the College and community.

For the 8th time in 12 years, HFC has been named a Community College Innovation Challenge finalist. HFC is the only college in Michigan participating in this year's CCIC.
