It's an honor to inform you that Austin Kendall has won this year's Alan Mulally Scholarship for the University of Maryland. Per earlier discussions, only 10 of these awards were allocated to universities across the globe this year. One of these 10 was allocated to the University of Maryland and, via a rigorous competition amongst numerous highly-qualified candidates, Austin emerged as the scholarship winner!

Austin is a junior in Mechanical Engineering, boasts a 3.6 GPA, and is the Team Leader and Chief Engineer of TerpsRacing Formula SAE. He was also the Team Leader for the TerpsRacing Baja SAE Team prior to this, participated in Honors Programs, and is equally skilled in software and analytical tools as he is in hands-on fabrication. He is a talented and deserving scholarship recipient, with the highest ethics and integrity, and we are proud to include him in this prestigious class of Alan Mulally Scholarship winners.

Go Austin!!!!
