Sean's Post Graduation Plans: I will begin Paramedic school, while studying for the MCAT, volunteering as an MA at a free clinic in Detroit, researching, and working 911 as an EMT in Detroit and the surrounding area before starting Medical School in 2028.

Cyan's Post Graduation Plans: I am part of the 4+1 program and will be receiving my MS in Criminology and Criminal Justice in Spring 2027. I will be working as a Legal Assistant as well as preparing for Law School.

We have two more alumni to highlight for their achievements: COB grad Umelo Onyejiaka ('14 BBA) and CECS grad Oksana Woloszczuk ('01 MS). Learn more about their individual recognitions below.

Umelo Onyejiaka was named to DBusiness' 2026 list of 30 in their Thirties. He is the founder and president of DevOps Detroit. Onyejiaka is a cloud solutions engineer on the DevOps team at Aumovio, formerly Continental’s auto group that spun off as an independent company in 2025. Concurrently, he launched DevOps Detroit, a nonprofit dedicated to refining tech talent. The team includes board members with expertise in networking and business strategy. Oksana Woloszczuk has been named to the list of Top Women Chief Supply Chain Officers of 2026 by Women We Admire! She has been chief supply chain officer of Amy's Kitchen since 2022. Amy's Kitchen is a family-owned, proudly independent prepared food company and Certified B Corporation whose purpose is to make it easy and enjoyable for everyone to eat well. She was most recently vice president of North American integrated supply chain at McCain. Harsh's Post Graduation Plans: As an undergrad in mechanical engineering and now an Industrial Engineer, I want to start my career by exploring opportunities in relevant domains and as an automobile lover like many others out there, wish to work close to those fantastic cars! I wish to contribute towards campus growth as a [member of the] alumni as well and help many others who wish to embark on educational journeys at UM-DEARBORN.

Metro Detroit artist Michelle Sider is bringing color, creativity, and inspiration to our campus with her newest exhibition, Seeking Light, opening this Wednesday at the Stamelos Gallery Center at UM-Dearborn.*

The mixed media artist will showcase more than 50 mosaic art pieces in her largest solo exhibition to date. We are proud to share Michelle’s remarkable work with both the campus and the greater community.

The Exhibition opens this Wednesday at 5 p.m. with the artist talk at 6 p.m.

Thank you to WDIV for featuring this exciting exhibition and helping spotlight the arts at UM-Dearborn.
