Super fun day yesterday! Members from The University of Michigan Dearborn's Association for Computing Machinery visited Salina Elementary School and taught 2nd grade students about Binary Code and Programming Instructions! Everyone had lots of fun converting their names to 1's and 0's and creating some pseudo code to get from a student's seat to the classroom door. Zaid was pretending to be a robot and fell on the floor when some instructions didn't work (program crash) and the kids loved it.
