HFC’s acclaimed student-run restaurant, Fifty-One O One, will host its extremely popular St. Patrick’s Day Buffet on Wednesday, March 18, in the John McDonald Student and Culinary Arts Center (Building M on the main campus).

The hours for the St. Patrick’s Day Buffet, which will cost $24.95 per person, are:

11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (lunch)
6:00 to 8:00 p.m. (dinner)
This annual event has become a cherished tradition at Fifty-One O One, offering guests a delectable array of Irish-inspired cuisine.

Both Spring and Summer HCEA sessions are now open for registration!

HFC will be hosting career exploration sessions for youth in 6th-8th or 9th-12th grade.

Additional information:

The price difference in similar sessions for Spring and Summer are due to grant funding supporting Spring sessions only. There are a few Summer sessions that have scholarships available. A request for scholarship can be made via the application.

HFC Presents: Winter 2026 Hawk Career Exploration Academy

The Hawk Career Exploration Academy offers engaging sessions designed to support career exploration in STEAM fields for youth in 6th–8th grade and 9th–12th grade.

Through hands-on activities and interactive STEAM experiences, participants are encouraged to think critically about their future education and career pathways. These sessions aim to spark curiosity, build confidence, and expose youth to a variety of high-demand fields.

Supported by funding from the Detroit Drives Degrees Community College Collaborative (D3C3), sessions are offered at a reduced cost of $25 per participant.

Sessions take place during Winter and Spring Break, with most sessions held on Saturdays beginning March 21, 2026. All sessions are hosted at Henry Ford College’s Main Campus.
