Recently, representatives from Waters International - Meridian location visited the ECCC Diesel Equipment Technology program in Philadelphia, MS. Attending were Josh Waters (Owner), James Edwards (Service Manager), Re*****on Rickles (Technician), and Ty Rawson (Technician). The technicians shared valuable insight into how their career paths have developed since completing a diesel program, while Josh and James discussed the many opportunities available within the industry.

Each year, Waters International awards a toolbox to the student with the highest GPA in the graduating class. This year’s recipient was Will Johnston of Newton.

Waters International continues to be a strong supporter and industry leader for our program, and we greatly appreciate their ongoing involvement and encouragement of our students.

Yesterday’s Business, Education & Healthcare Expo brought together more than 90 employers from across our region—creating moments for our students to explore what comes next. From meaningful conversations to handing out resumes, our students stepped forward, and learned what opportunities are available to them!
