The principal goal of the CIE as it pertains to Education Abroad is to provide the best culturally sensitized academic international experience for Millikin domestic students. Millikin students should achieve the goal of being a global citizen in a global society by participating in the various formats available for study abroad, such as: semester long programs, faculty-led short-term programs, an

d other programs such as international internships. The principal goal of the CIE as it pertains to International Student Services is to provide support and services that contribute to the academic, cultural, social, personal experiences, and retention of students and scholars from around the world during their stay at Millikin University. This is accomplished by offering full-service immigration advising services and a wide range of high-quality support services, including: pre-arrival services, orientation programs, immigration and general advising, workshops, and cultural programs to enable students to develop and practice the skills necessary to become global citizens.
