We are looking for submissions of poetry, research, and art to give form to your experience.

CRITICAL STORYTELLING FROM THE PANDEMIC

We are looking to amplify voices and stories, like yours, from the pandemic. Submit your stories about your personal experience during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Accepted Submissions:
- Prose/Narrative: 2,500 word max.
- Research: 3,000 word max.
- Poetry: 3 poems max.
- Visual Arts: 5 pieces max.

Submission Instructions:
- Submit a cover letter including name/titles, word count, and contact information with your submission.
- If you are submitting a written form, please include a PDF and an editable copy of your submission.

We want your stories of living in a borderland space.
A border is an uncomfortable place. It is unstable, full of pain and turmoil--but it can also be a shelter: a place of joy, love, and celebration. This splitting/joining of worlds necessarily creates resistance, reinvention, and innovation.
Send us your own critical story from the border/your borderland!
Submissions open to English, Spanish, Spanglish, Russian, and Italian publications
Criteria:
Prose/ Narrative: Maximum of 2,500 words
Research: Maximum of 3,000 words
Poetry: Maximum of 3 poems per submission
Visual Arts: Maximum of 5 pieces per submission in color or black and white
Send a cover letter including name/title(s), word count, and contact info.
Submit 2 copies: A PDF and an editable copy
Applicants are encouraged to respond with multiple submissions
Deadline: December 2020
