Alpha Chi Omega-Upsilon Welcome to Alpha Chi Omega - Upsilon Chapter
Seeking the Heights at Millikin University since 1913

Alpha Chi Omega is very dedicated to their philanthropic activities. Nationally, we support survivors of domestic violence through the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation. Locally, the Upsilon Chapter works with the Dove Shelter in Decatur, Illinois. Each semester we host a philanthropic event to raise money for the Dove Shelter. Keep a look out for posts about Alpha Chi's and Pies and other fundraisers!!

Every year, on the last Wednesday of April, we recognize Denim Day in support of sexual assault survivors.

But why denim?
In the 90’s, an 18 year-old Italian girl’s assaulter didn’t face proper justice because the court determined her jeans were “too tight” to remove by force and she must have “helped” and therefore consented.
This caused an outrage and the women of parliament marched on the steps of the Supreme Court in protest. This protest was adopted worldwide and turned officially into Denim Day.
