If you'd like to catch the talk virtually, we'll be moving the virtual links to our other page, the official Bradley Observatory Page, from now on. So, for all your Bradley Observatory needs, including talk recordings and event schedules et cetera, follow the Bradley Observatory page! Thanks! I'll go post over there now...!

NOTICE: There's no more Oct 11 event, but there IS an event TONIGHT! The Equinox Concert was delayed to tonight (Oct 4), so please come by the observatory tonight for a great jazz piano show and a planetarium sky show and, possibly, weather allowing, a glimpse through our telescopes! Thank you!

Hi observatory goers! As you may have noticed, over the past couple years we've tried out having some Open Houses start at 7 pm instead of 8 pm. How's that working for you? Do you have a preference? We'd like to know what you think! If you'd like to weigh in, please fill out this quick poll:

Our Open Houses start at either 7 pm or 8 pm. Equinox Concerts tend to start at 7 pm, and early fall and late spring Open Houses tend to start at 8 pm. The observatory's spring equinox concert is this Friday! Join us for fresh fun music from Colin Cutler & Hot Pepper Jam! After the concert, we'll have our sky show in the planetarium. Weather doesn't look great, so we probably won't get to open the telescopes this round, but you're welcome to wander upstairs to see our vintage Beck Telescope where it rests inside its safe, dry dome.

Concert and sky show are inside, so join us this rainy Friday at the Bradley Observatory!

Open house this Friday with speaker Lydia Miller, teaching us about rotating stars! The weather's not looking great, but we'll be sure to give you a great astronomy talk and a great Valentine's Day themed sky show: Lovers in the Sky! Also, an UPDATE: We have fixed the audio issue in the planetarium + overflow room, so if you do end up in the overflow room, the audio should be much better now! :)
