We do not support or oppose any political party or candidate. The LWV is a non partisan, issue driven organization that supports voters as active participants in the democratic process. We endeavor to encourage informed voting, and in that, to be more knowledgeable and more actively involved in the decisions made by our elected officials in Carrollton, Carroll County, at the state of Georgia level

, and at the United States federal government level. The UWG LWV promotes political responsibility specifically by targeting issues of concern, researching information, examining facts, engaging in civil discourse, and making informed votes. We make democracy work by using democratic processes to address issues. The League is about coming together to find answers to contemporary concerns and striving for greater participation by the American people.
