Class of '76, Alan and Speedy are coming home—are you? 🖤💛

Former Mr. ECCC Alan Baker of Brewton, Ala., and Louisville native Speedy Calvert have RSVP’d for the Class of 1976 Golden Anniversary Reunion on Thursday, Oct. 1! You may also remember them as members of the popular group Bob and the Bebops. We’ve heard from several other classmates who are coming, too. If you haven’t made your plans, you’d better make them now!

Alan and Speedy helped craft a schedule full of opportunities to tour campus, reconnect, reminisce and enjoy Homecoming together. Their phone numbers are included if you have questions—or just want to call and catch up.

📈 3,324 students are calling ECCC home this fall, an increase of 308 students over last year!

💪 Since Fall 2022, ECCC enrollment has grown 28.48%. The highest five-year growth rate of any community college in Mississippi.

This kind of growth doesn’t happen by accident. It’s the result of a college-wide commitment to recruiting, retaining, and serving students from their first interaction with ECCC through graduation.

Condolences to the family of ECCC alumnus Rex Keeton (‘65) of Pelahatchie who died yesterday. Rex is a member of the ECCC Athletic Hall of Fame and the MACCC Sports Hall of Fame. He also previously served on the ECCC Alumni Board of Directors. He was a true Warrior at heart and always supportive of the college in word and deed. He will be greatly missed.
