The road to Omaha runs through Decatur! Baseball alumnus and pitcher Grant Edwards (’23) of Walker, La., will be playing in the College World Series as a member of the Georgia baseball team. The Bulldogs advanced after winning a Regional and Super Regional series to advance. Edwards and the Bulldogs were earlier crowned Southeastern Conference Champions after defeating Arkansas in the title game in Hoover, Ala.

Warrior pride was on full display at the Mississippi Mud Monsters game tonight!
A special congratulations to ECCC Baseball Head Coach Neal Holliman who delivered the ceremonial first pitch, and to sophomore Ana Holley, whose outstanding performance of the National Anthem set the tone for a great evening at the ballpark.
Thank you both for representing East Central Community College with class, talent, and Warrior spirit. We are proud to see our students and employees making an impact both on and off campus!
