Colleague, AscAgnes, and MyAscAgnes (Self-Service) will be unavailable this Sunday morning September 4, 2022, from 8 AM to 12 noon for system maintenance. Please contact the help desk should you have any questions or concerns.

Greetings Campus Community,

This Saturday, September 3rd, ITS Network Services will be applying critical security updates to the college's firewall that will require it to be offline for brief periods of time during the maintenance window.

Because all traffic into and out of the campus network goes through this device, there will be a complete loss of Internet connectivity during the time it is offline, for both wired devices and those connected via Wi-Fi. Accessing Internet sites from on campus will not be possible during the outage. Accessing sites hosted on campus -- the college website, AscAgnes, Colleague, and Informer, for example -- from off campus will also not be possible. Off-campus access to applications such as Google services and Canvas, which use authentication mechanisms hosted off campus, will be unaffected.

We will begin applying the updates at 7:00am and plan to be finished by 10:00am. Loss of connectivity will only occur while the firewall is rebooting, though several restarts may be necessary. We will send out a notification when the maintenance is complete.
