Welcome to our Student Highlight! Today, we are highlighting Tollef Currell, a senior Theatre major with an Art minor. At Luther, besides being involved in VPA shows, he is also a member of the improv troop “Top Banana” and is a part of Choir at Luther.

When asking Tollef about his favorite show at Luther, he responded, “My favorite show I performed in at Luther is Stupid Flicking Bird. I think it is a brilliant adaptation of Checkov's The Seagull. It embraces Checkov's black humor with a deeply human script. It was an honor to play Conrad. I loved all the audience interaction and the intimate cast size.”

He also said, “I am grateful to the Luther theatre program for the opportunities it has given me from performance to design. It has brought me wonderful people and life long memories. I am excited to go out into the world and continue to learn.”
