The Visual Communication program at Northern Illinois University provides an intellectually based, professional education that focuses on graphic form and communication, cultural factors, problem solving and design process. Students graduate with the problem solving, aesthetic, theoretical, and interpersonal skills necessary to enter the graphic design profession and sustain a career in design.

Hi Everyone,
This week we will be hosting Dr. Kaska Gawrych-Olender from the Fine Arts Academy in Katowice/Poland. In my 11am class tomorrow she will present a lecture "Planning and presentation of design projects". Please feel free to join us – this is an interesting topic that can help you plan and brainstorm any future project. You will also see a lot of interesting examples of student work.
In ARTD 312 class (2pm) Dr. Kaska Gawrych-Olender will be presenting another lecture: Visual identity – case study, and for ARTD 406 class (6pm), she prepared presentation titled: Living poster.
