For the last several days, students in the One-Year MBA Chicago cohort have been experiencing their international immersion trip in Chile!

The group explored the historic heart of downtown Santiago, taking in the city’s blend of historic architecture, public squares and cultural landmarks that reflect Chile’s political and economic history.
They got a deeper context on the country’s economy and identity, which began with exploring the vibrant, winding hills of Valparaíso, taking in the city’s colorful street art, historic port setting, and unique cultural character—offering perspective on Chile’s coastal economy and creative expression. They traveled to Viña del Mar, where they enjoyed a seaside lunch and had the rare opportunity to see a real Moai — one of the iconic stone statues from Rapanui, also known as Easter Island.

All the while, students engaged with leaders across industries including technology, agriculture, energy, sustainability, finance, and international trade, gaining firsthand insight into Chile’s dynamic business landscape.
