The Student Activity Fee Allocation Committee (S.A.F.A.C.) is designed to appropriately allocate funding to an approved Stetson University student organization. An organization must be up to date on all requirements with the Student Development and Campus Vibrancy before the organization can receive S.A.F.A.C. funding is not intended to be the sole source of funding for an organization. Here are the hearing times for the Fall 2015 Allocation Hearing that will take place tomorrow (4/24/2015) in CUB 204.

Please be on time, as groups that are late could lose the opportunity to present.

The upcoming S.A.F.A.C allocation hearing for Fall 2015 will be held on Friday, April 24th, 2015.


Any organization that wishes to request funding for Fall 2015 must send a representative to the information session shown below. If you had a representative present at the SAFAC session at Pass The Hat on March 20th, 2015, your organization doesn’t need to attend another info session. These information sessions will teach your representative about our policies, how to request money, and answer any other questions they may have.

REMINDER:

The upcoming S.A.F.A.C allocation hearing for Spring 2015 will be held on Friday, March 13th, 2015.

Any organization that wishes to request funding for Spring 2015 must have attended one of the information sessions on either Friday, November 21st 2014 or Monday, December 1st 2014 or they must send a representative to the information session shown below. Also, organizations that had a leadership change over the past semester are encouraged to send their new representative.

Based on the large number of requests that were received last semester, we would like to inform all organizations that we have a little under $5,000 to allocate for the remainder of Spring 2015. Please keep your requests as accurate as possible and in the hearing indicate which items are most important to the success of your organization’s event, program, etc.

Reminder- The SAFAC information session for the Fall Semester Allocation Hearing will be tomorrow at 6pm in LBC 123. If your organization does not have a representative in attendance, your budgets will not be considered until next semester.

Stetson Organizations, are you expecting to have events next semester and need help funding them?
We will have our Fall Allocation hearing on April 26th. The information session for this hearing will be April 14th (time and location TBD)

In our office we believe that transparency is important, especially since we are allocating money from your tuition. To help show you how the money is used, our office will be posting info about upcoming events that are using your activity fees as a source of funding.

What is an activity fee? Every Stetson student's tuition has an activity fee included in it each semester. That money is collected and distributed to student organizations on campus with the oversight of our office.
