SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: .how 🩷🌎🐢🤍

Maddy (PC ‘23) is from Avon Lake, OH double majoring in environmental studies and geography. Post-graduation, she will be earning her Masters of Science in Geography at Ohio University.

Maddy’s favorite DZ memory is all the spontaneous hangouts- from giving out halloween candy at the house, to game nights and movie nights, and laughing for hours on end. She’s going to miss it so much!

To current and future members she says “Take advantage of every opportunity you get- go to events, talk to someone you don’t know as well, try that leadership position (and it’s ok if you don’t get it, some of the most important leaders are those you can go to for advice and have knowledge about the chapter itself!) and have fun with it! DZ gave me so much and I hope it gives you great experiences as well “

Meredith (PC ‘23) is from Washington, PA double majoring in zoology and educational studies. Post-graduation, she will be going back to working at Disney World and working with animals there.

Meredith’s favorite DZ memory was when a group decided to join an intramural volleyball team. To current and future members she says “do as much as you can! You get out of Greek life what you it into it. It can get overwhelming but it can also be so much fun!”

Irini (PC ‘23) is from Worthington, OH double majoring in AYA Education and English. Post-graduation, she will be spending the summer with her family and traveling. She will be staying in Columbus with the Columbus Alumni Chapter of Delta Zeta and seeking out opportunities in the education field.

Irini’s favorite DZ memory was opening her bid card freshman year and running home to DZ. She’s so grateful for all the memories she has made with her sisters since. To current and future members she says “savor every moment and take advantage of the time you have as an active member!.”

Skylar (PC ‘23) is from Avon Lake, OH majoring in psychology with a minor in neuroscience. Post-graduation, she will be getting an internship/job before applying to grad school!

Skylar’s favorite DZ memories are all the game nights and going out to get food after chapter with her DZ family. To current and future members she says “Cherish all the time you have within the sorority, it goes by fast! Never be afraid to try new things and remember to always be yourself. Being apart of DZ has given me so many wonderful opportunities and memories that I will never forget.”

Brooke (PC ‘23) is from Sidney, OH majoring in special education. Post-graduation, she will be teaching in a Multiple Disabilities unit either in the Delaware or Sidney areas.

Brooke’s favorite DZ memory is the night that she accepted her bid. Having her future sisters in front of her showed her that she had found her forever home. To current and future members she says “Do everything you can!!! Your time at OWU and in Delta Zeta flies by and all you can do is soak up every possible moment.”

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: 🐢🎭🧠🌹

Gillian (PC ‘23) is from Fairfield, OH majoring in psychology with a minor in history. Post-graduation, she will be pursuing a masters in clinical mental health counseling at Miami University in hopes of becoming a therapist.

One of Gillian’s favorite DZ memories is the many sisterhood events at the pumpkin patch in the fall and every little moment where someone made us laugh until we all cried. To current and future members she says “If you don’t think you fit the stereotype of what a “sorority girl” is “supposed to be,” you belong here. This has truly been a space where I can be myself—there are so many diverse personalities, interests, and strengths in Delta Zeta, which is what makes us so special.”

Evelyn is a freshman from Seattle, WA majoring in AYA Education and English with a minor in Classical Studies. On campus, she is a lifeguard and peer tutor! In her free time, she loves to read, thrift, and be outdoors.

Evelyn joined DZ to meet new people and make memories with her new support system.
