Brothers all, the actives will be putting out their alumni letter shortly and ask if you can post your email address so that they can keep you in the fold with all that they are doing. The actives are ambitious and looking to leave their mark on the house in a positive way and have a list of fixes that they are looking to tackle and wish to receive sponsorship as funds are low. Please consider helping the brothers out while we work towards getting back to greatness as we just became re recognized on campus.

It comes with great sadness in finding out the passing of brother Andre Guzman. We do not know when/where services will be held, but once we know we will share this info with you all. Andre pledged in Fall 2006 and was a culinary major. He grew up in Port Washington, NY. After getting tired of working Fire Island year after year, he moved out west and settled at a resort in MOAB, Utah looking for the next challenge/adventure in life.

No matter when you pledged since refounding up until a few years ago, you all have come to know Andre. He was a kind, loving, caring person that would go out of his way to help you through whatever it was you were going through. Not only could he do this by having an open ear or providing open criticism, but he could also do it by making your mouth say oh hell yeah with his culinary skills. And if that still wasn’t enough his big hugs would seal the deal.

As Dre would probably tell us, don’t be sad for him but rather be happy that he is in a peaceful place no longer in any pain watching over you all smiling with that great big smile of his.

What an amazing weekend. Thanks to all the brothers and sister that made it to the gathering. Another one in the books and more importantly we are slowly increasing attendance and brothers and sisters are bringing their family’s which is great to see. Thanks again and we look forward to seeing everyone at our possibly last pig roast so let’s make this thing go out with a bang
