Building stronger communities together! Angela Woodard, Associate Director for Administrative Operations, and Sonia Vaughn, Senior Office Manager, recently represented the Center of Excellence for Educator Preparation and Innovation at the All-Star Nonprofit P.E.E.R. Meet Up Reception.
A huge thank you to Together SC for hosting and the Central Carolina Community Foundation for sponsoring such an inspiring afternoon! It was an incredible opportunity to connect with leaders from across South Carolina, celebrate the vital work of our state's nonprofit sector, and explore new ways to collaborate.

Empowering tomorrow's educators requires bold collaboration. This month, we met with the National Education Association (NEA) and the South Carolina Education Association (SCEA) to strategize new ways to support the teaching profession.
Using the EPIC Apprenticeship Program as a springboard, our discussion explored how to deepen this partnership and expand opportunities for both aspiring and current teachers.
Together, we are building meaningful career pathways that help educators enter, grow, and thrive in their calling. Stay tuned for what's next!

Congratulations, Dr. Kathy L. McMillan-Bennon! 📚✨
What a wonderful accomplishment to bring Hendrix Finds His Voice to life! This inspiring children’s book beautifully captures one child’s journey to finding his voice and reminds us that every child learns, grows and communicates in their own time.
Thank you for sharing Hendrix’s story and celebrating the power of patience, family and support. Every child has a voice—and every voice deserves to be heard.
Dr. McMillan-Bennon is a Clinical Education Manager with the EPI Center.
