Dr. JL Porter, executive vice president for student affairs, recently represented Denmark Tech at the GlobalMindED Conference in Denver, Colorado. The experience provided valuable opportunities to learn from national leaders and identify innovative approaches that benefit students both inside and outside the classroom.

Eleven years ago today, nine lives were taken in the tragic shooting at Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston. Today, we remember and honor each of them, including Denmark Technical College barbering alumnus Tywanza Sanders. Their lives and legacies continue to inspire strength and hope.
