UNT Students, Faculty, and Staff had the unique opportunity to hear John Truitt’s presentation “Autism Spectrum Differences, 2e Twice Exceptional and Dyslexia.” Mr. Truitt is the creator of the On The Spectrum Foundation, which is a non-profit dedicated to advocating for Autism spectrum talents through self-discovery and social education.
Mr. Truitt was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, Dyslexia and other differences at age 45. After a successful career in medical and dental device start-ups, he discovered how his “Asperger’s works” and shares its benefits with others on the spectrum.
Thanks to the UNT Neurodiversity Professional Network (ND at UNT) and UNT EPIC for sponsoring the event!
