1. 🎓 What’s your major?
My major is Computer and Information Sciences. I’ve always been interested in technology, and I enjoy learning how it can be used to solve real-world problems.
2. 🌎 Tell me about a time you had a big culture shock.
One of my biggest culture shocks was adjusting to how independent life is in the U.S. Everything from academics to everyday life felt different at first. Over time, I learned to adapt, become more independent, and feel more comfortable in a new environment.
3. 🎉 Recent accomplishment?
My biggest recent accomplishment is graduating with my Master’s degree from the University of North Texas! It’s a really special achievement for me and makes all the hard work and challenges along the way feel worth it.
4. 💚 Favorite activity on campus?
One of my favorite things to do on campus is attend UNT events and spend time with friends around campus. I especially enjoy events where I can meet people from different cultures and backgrounds.
5. 📚 Resource you like on campus?
I really appreciate UNT’s International Affairs resources. They’ve been helpful throughout my journey as an international student, especially when it comes to understanding important requirements and adjusting to student life in the U.S.
6. ✨ Any advice for new international students?
My advice would be to enjoy the journey and don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. Ask questions, make new friends, participate in campus events, and use the resources UNT provides. The beginning can feel overwhelming, but with time, UNT starts to feel like home. 💚
